A GNATHIA WARE BLACK-GLAZED TERRACOTTA ASKOS Circa 4th Century B.C. Of lentoid form, with a domed top decorated with incised concentric circles surrounding a central knop, radiating foliate patterns are depicted in yellow and white slip with elements highlighted in darker slip, the arched handle crossing the body to the flared spout, 14.7cm long.  Provenance: French private collection.
