A fine antique Sarouk carpet, west Persia

Approx: 352cm. x 272cm. Very good example for this type with elegant design of multicoloured stylised floral sprays around central cusped medallion with pendants. Very good colour combination with soft ivory field. This carpet has very good pile, very soft and lustrous wool. Selvages original. One end with original kilim. Other and with short fringes, secured. In general, this carpet is in very good usable condition. Great furnishing piece with square size, sought after on market.
