The oval-section body cast in relief with various mythical beasts caught up in tumultuous waves and set with a pair of beast-mask handles, surmounted by a domed reticulated cover formed with dragons and phoenixes amidst swirling cloud clusters, topped with a large dragon-form finial, the base with a rectangular cartouche bearing a six-character Xuande mark
