A pair of George III sterling silver snuffers trays, London 1789 makers mark obscured possibly by William Abdy

Of navette form with beaded rim, the sides with pierced decoration of urns, heightened with wrigglework engraving. The field centre with a quartered coat of arms within mantling reserved in an oval cartouche. Each fully marked to the reverse. (2)
