A NORTH-WEST PERSIAN LONG KELLEH

The pale apricot field with three pale-beige and pale-blue large hooked and floral medallions linking smaller beige hookd and floral lozenges. Hooked half panels on sides and ends. In light-bue border of meandering rosette vine between linked panel, barber-pole and plain stripes, approx: 432cm. x 152cm. Bold appearance and very good pastel colours. This carpet has even wear. Ends with short fringes, secured. Selvages rebound, well done. Despite the wear this carpet is in decent usable condtion and has lovely appeal. Attractive and very good furnishing piece.
