Opaque pigments heightened with gold on paper, the vertical compositions depicting several different Indian rulers riding their steeds, some accompanied by attendants, others on their own, featuring known Rajput rulers such as Thakur Sher Singh of Osian, Jodhpur; the grandson of Maharaja Vallabhacharya, Kumar Suryanarayan; Maharaja Sawai Ram Singh II of Jaipur (1834 - 1880); Thakur Bakhtawar Singh of Auwa; Prithviraja III, popularly known as Prithviraj Chauhan or Rai Pithora, king from the Chahamana dynasty (r. 1178 - 1192); and many others, the largest 40cm x 30.5cm; the smallest 29cm x 20.5cm.
