An album of 24 albumen prints, image size 25 x30cm (or the reverse), pasted down onto album pages, overall measuring 38 x30cm, featuring views of New Zealand. Subjects include general views of Auckland; Whangārei Falls and River; landscapes and wildlife scenes, Waitakeri; Pink Terrace and White Terrace, Rotomahana; Rotorua Lake, Rotomahana; Henderson's Creek, Auckland Region; a group portrait of a Maori School; scene of a Maori War Dance; a group portrait depicting possibly King Tāwhiao (c. 1822–1894) holding a mere, together with two women and a man in traditional clothing, seated outside the King's residence at Whatiwhatihoe Pā (near Pirongia).
