The shadded rust red field with three multicoloured hooked and linked medallions, flanked by small floral and checkered panels together with S motifs in an ivory hooked panel and hooked vine border, between green and blue ribbon and barber pole stripes, approx. 246cm x 158cm. Very elegant rug with very nicely drawn design and bold appearance. This rug has crease lines which are worn down to knot collar, touches of scattered wear on field and borders. Black is corroded. Both ends original with kilim. Salvages original with touches of fraying. In general this rug is good usable condition. Very attractive piece.
