A late 20^th century Chinese silver gilt filigree and enamel box

Rectangular form with a hinged lid, the lid set with a carved tiger’s eye carved as peony. The sides with enamel decoration of peonies with birds reserved with foliate forms. Stamped underneath with SILVER, and Finnish import marks for sterling standard, Helsinki by O.Aikala and Co (active 1968-87). Together with a very similar silver box, the lid set with a carved smokey quartz as a pair of plums. Stamped underneath SILVER and MADE IN CHINA. (2)
