*** This ‘Large Paper Copy’ comes via a member of the Deering family formally the Gandy family. In total there are 92 original illustrations to include 4 coloured maps and plans, 26 watercolours, 46 ‘sepia’ wash illustrations, and 16 pen, ink, and pencil images, Gandy created these by the method of the ‘camera lucida’ to be able to get the most accurate reproductions available at that time.
