TAXIDERMY: 'WOLPERTINGER'

TAXIDERMY: 'WOLPERTINGER'

free standing sat full mount. A particularly fine example of a rare and cute juvenile male Wolpertinger. From German folklore, the Wolpertinger is a hare-like animal, with the wings of a bird; antlers of a deer; and fangs of coyote, said to inhabit the alpine forests of Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg in Southern Germany. No wunderkammer is complete without one.
