A George VI sterling silver cigarette box, Birmingham 1936 by Deakin and Francis
Of rectangular form, the hinged lid raised by a simple thumbpiece, with engine turned decoration centred with rectangular vacant cartouche. Wood lined interior. Marked fully and part-marked to the side. Together with a smaller similar example Birmingham 1968 by Alexander Clark and Co. Fully and part-marked on the side, stamped 'Made In England' on the base
