A mid-19th century silver gilt combination desk seal and vinaigrette

Modelled as a falcon perched upon a branch all upon a spreading circular vacant base, the hinged head opening to reveal a pierced hinged grill. The eyes as two collet set cabochon cut rubies. Unmarked.
