A group of vintage silver gelatin press prints (7), each overall measuring 15 x 20cm, two with captions affixed recto and verso, four with captions affixed only verso, and one with caption typed directly onto sheet verso, each with a Keystone stamp verso. Photographers include George Rodger (1), David Scherman (3), Silk (1), Abrahams (1), and Scherschel (1), subjects include a solitary bulldozer in Villers (Rodger); the Siege of St Malo (Scherman); the American flag planted into the ground at St Malo (Scherman); The 'Mad' Colonel Von Auldon, who commanded the citadel, comes out of his fort with another high-ranking German official, St. Malo (Scherman); Nazi Hoards of Looted Art Uncovered in Austrian Castle (Abrahams); Refugrees in France (Scherschel); and a view of General Horrocks beside his personal tank and driver (Silk).
