A good late 19th century Anglo – Indian unmarked silver mug, Calcutta circa 1890
Raj period. Of gently tapering cylindrical form, a shaped section handle with scroll junctions. The body with embossed decoration in village pattern including oxen pulling a cart all between two borders of rosettes with foliate scrolls, the front with a vacant shield shape cartouche reserved in scrolls. Gilt interior.
