An early George II Irish sterling silver coffee pot, Dublin 1727, possibly by Robert Calderwood (active 1727-66)
Of tapering cylindrical form upon a moulded foot, the wooden C scroll handle pinned to sockets at a right angle to a curved spout with moulded junction. The hinged domed lid surmounted a compressed knop finial. Marked to the right of handle with date letter, standard mark and an obscured maker’s mark.
