An early 20th century Chinese export silver tea caddy, Shanghai circa 1920 possibly marked Le, retailed by Wang Hing of Canton and Hong Kong
Republic period. Of rounded inverted baluster form with a pull off cylindrical lid. The body with chased lines to resemble a gourd. Marked underneath with an obscured artisan mark possibly 㔹 (LE), and retailer’s mark WH90.
