An early 20th century Anglo – Indian unmarked silver beaker, Kashmir dated 1918
Raj period, of tapering cylindrical form, with chased decoration of coriander pattern. The plain central band engraved with a presentation inscription reading “No 13 Convalescent Depot Sports, August 15th 1918, 100 Yards Open Race 2nd Prize Won by Sargent Norman Taylor, Liverpool rifles”, heightened with scroll flourishes. Gilt interior. The inner upper section with incised concentric lines.
