An early 20^th century Anglo – Indian unmarked silver beaker, Kashmir dated 1918

Raj period, of tapering cylindrical form, with chased decoration of coriander pattern. The plain central band engraved with a presentation inscription reading “No 13 Convalescent Depot Sports, August 15^th 1918, 100 Yards Open Race 2^nd Prize Won by Sargent Norman Taylor, Liverpool rifles”, heightened with scroll flourishes. Gilt interior. The inner upper section with incised concentric lines.
