“Looking at Dan’s work is like meeting old friends for me,” “It’s fascinating to see Mickey and all the chaps used in a newer different way.”
Sir Peter Blake

Contemporary artist Dan Baldwin is at the forefront of the Young British Artist movement. Today, Baldwin is an established figure in the art world, exhibiting globally. The majority of Dan’s work takes the form of silkscreen prints. Integrating the real with the imaginary, Dan layers his work, both physically and conceptually. Glazes, collage and diamond dust sit on silkscreen surfaces to give a textural depth to Dan’s work. Recurring motifs of skeletons, flowers, knives and cartoon figures characterise Dan’s style, with the stark contrast between them making for art that is both sinister and fantastical.

Dan Baldwin is an art investment favourite and has an extremely passionate following. Celebrity collectors include Bernie Ecclestone, Sir Ronald Cohen, Jake Chapman and Jo Whiley among others. Influential artists Damien Hirst, Gilbert & George and Peter Blake also collect Baldwin’s work and credit him as a key influencer of his generation. In addition, his work is found in prominent collections and institutions around the world.
