A late 19th / early 20th century Chinese export silver small twin handled dish, Shanghai circa 1900, marked Yi Sheng, retailed by Luen Wo
Qing dynasty. Of tapering quatrefoil form with twin handles formed as a Chinese dragons with saw cut and engraved frills and applied wire work horns, all upon four stepped feet. The sides with pierced decoration of alternating panels of bamboo, and Chinese dragons amidst clouds. Marked underneath with artisan mark 義盛 (YI SHENG), and retailer’s mark LUENWO.
