A late 19th / early 20th century Anglo – Indian silver bowl, Calcutta, Bhowanipore circa 1900 by Grish Chunder Dutt
Raj period. Of shaped wavy circular form upon a spreading circular foot. The body with embossed decoration in village pattern, the underside engraved “34th Field Battery. R. A.”. Marked underneath GRISH CHUNDER DUTT BHOWANIPORE CALCUTTA. Together with a pair of Calcutta bowls, similarly formed, by Dass and Dutt. (3)
