The light blue field with two large figures of Fu Dogs togehter with Buddhist motifs and cloudbands. In plain border with single Lotus flowerhead and leaves in an each corner. Outer plain stripe, approx 266cm. x 370cm. Unusual carpet size for this type. Design is very well drawn with good colour scheme. This carpet has full pile. Few very small spots at one side border, possibly furniture marks. Ends and selvages original. Woven on horizontal looms. In general this carpet is in very good condition throughout. Very attractive and great furnishing piece.
