ROBERT WALLACE MARTIN (BRITISH, 1843 - 1923) FOR MARTIN BROTHERS: A late 19th century stoneware spoon-warmer, circa 1883, modelled as a smiling grotesque chimaera type creature with scaly skin, hoofed feet and owl ears, glazed in brown, the base with incised mark R W Martin & Bros London & Southall 1883, professional restoration to both ear tips 13.3cm. high x 16cm wide
