Of conventional baluster ‘sparrow beak’ form with spout opposite a C scroll hanlde with moulded junction, all upon a circlar moulded foot. Fully marked underneath.

Height – 7.6 cm / 3.25 inches

Weight – 101 grams / 3.25 ozt

For a cream jug with the same form of handle of 1723 by Samuel Wastell illustrated Schroder, T. (2009), British and Continental Gold and Silver in the Ashmolean Museum. Oxford: Ashmolean Museum, fig. 287, p. 772.
