A DERBY BOY FIGURE EMBLEMATIC OF SUMMER, CIRCA 1760S, from the Seasons, modelled as a seated boy in breeches and a pink frock coat, wearing a wheat ear wreath about his head, holding wheat sheaves in his hands with a scattering of cut wheat upon the moulded rococo base, 12cm high, together with a Derby porcelain model of girl, representing Summer, seated in a floral dress with a black bodice, on a shaped base (damages)

Note: the boy figure is illustrated in Barrett & Thorpe's 'Derby porcelain' (1971) plate 48.
