Vintage postcard sent by Henry Moore to Eric Gill, sending Moore’s wishes “for a Happy Christmas and a good 1933”, also signed by the artist on behalf of his wife Irina, browning throughout, loss to the left margin but text remains unaffected, 9 x 14cm, postmarked, Hampstead, 21 December 1932; together with a postcard sent by Eric Gill to his wife, message reading “It’s cold and drizzling here this morning. This picture seems appropriately damn’ silly”, postmarked Glasgow, 14 October 1938. (2)
