A late 19th / early 20th century Chinese export silver christening mug, Canton circa 1910, marked Rong Fa, retailed by Kwan Wo of Canton and Hong Kong
Qing dynasty. Formed as a tapering cylindrical section modelled a shoot of bamboo, the handle modelled as bamboo with a bifurcated junction forming cast and applied leaves, with three applied insects. Marked underneath with artisan mark 荣發 (RONG FA), and retailer’s mark KW.
