Sorry this was a false report as far as I'm concerned - maybe H.G. would have some ne8vo, was about it all. ***Mae Clarke was an American actress, widely remembered for playing Henry Frankenstein's bride Elizabeth, who is chased by Boris Karloff in Frankenstein, and for being on the receiving end of James Cagney's halved grapefruit in The Public Enemy. Bette Davis and Mae Clarke probably met on the set of the 1931 movie Waterloo Bridge.
