In soft light red border of multicoloured palmettes delicate floral tendrils and arabesques between floral meander, reciprocal and plain strpes, approx: 6ft.6in. x 4ft.7in.(198cm. x 140cm.) Beautifully drawn design with very good colour combination. This rug has slight localized wear to the top pile, down to knot collar in places. Selvages rebound. Ends with short fringes, slightly fraying, one corner with small loss, secured. Very fine weave, approx: 8 x 8 knots per sq. cm. In general this rug is in good usable condition. Classic for this type. Elegant piece, despilte imperfections.
