An indenture from the reign of James II, detailing an agreement between Lord Edward Wotton, Baron Marley and his son Thomas, and Thomas Godfrey for rents of dewllings on the grounds of Oldelongporte manor, one page, signed by Edward and Thomas Wotton and with respective red wax seals attached, some loss along the lower centre, some spotting, float mounted, folio, 12 November n.y [c. 1685-8]; with a marriage settlement of Edward Godfrey and Elizabeth Poole, 1771; a lease between Thomas Godfrey and Thomas Rowley, 1 March 1791; and other indentures, also including two sets of red and black wax impressions of seals of various members of the Godfrey- Faussett family (10)
