A pair of fine Chinese export 'seated hounds' figures, Qing dynasty, Qianlong period
清乾隆 外銷粉彩坐犬 一對

Comprising two finely and naturalistically-modelled figures of seated dogs, each with head raised and jaws opening to reveal bared teeth, with an alert gaze and curled tails, wearing a green collar suspending a gilt-painted bell, the coat in shades of brown and white, the eyes with further detail in black
