A fine Tabriz carpet, north-west Persia

Approx: 286cm. x 232cm. Very good colour with soft ivory field with very well drawn design, bold appearance. Apart of very light touches of wear to the top pile in one or two small places, barely visible and small mark on the edge of one side, this carpet has full pile, very soft and lustrous wool quality. Selvages original. Ends with short fringes, secured. In general, this carpet is in very good usable condition. Great furnishing piece with very good square size, sought after on the market. Attractive.
