Made of plain ivory plaques set in a rectangular casket-like format, enhanced with silver mounts on the corners, sides and lid, with two silver chainlets on each short side, the interior divided into two compartments for the scribe's tools (pen and ink), 6cm x 27cm x 6.2cm.
