A George III sterling silver London and Westminster Light Horse Volunteers Officers Shoulder Belt Plate

The badge of oval form with a beaded rim, cast with a lion grasping the Garter Proper enclosing the ‘GR’ cypher, all above FORWARD, against a texture ground. Belt hook and studs to the reverse. Marked to the front.
Length – 6.6 cm / 2.6 inches
Weight – 64 grams / 2.06 ozt
