A TURQUOISE-GLAZED KASHAN POTTERY TULIP VASE
Kashan, Iran, 12th - 13th century
Of bulbous shape, resting on a tall splayed foot and rising to a flared neck, the frit body covered with opaque turquoise glaze, below the neck four small spouts, 20cm high.
Provenance: Chiswick Auctions, 27 April 2018, lot 18. Previously, in a private UK collection since at least the 1970s.
