In an ivory inscription stripe Mubarak-Baad (congratulations). In soft rust red border of bold serrated palmettes and angular hooked leaf vine between light blue, flowering vine and babrberpole stripes.approx. 197cm x 141cm. A classic for this type with well drawn design and good colours. This rug has very slight wear to the pile in few places, barely visible. Salvages original with slight fraying on wool cord. One end with original kilim slight fraying in small part. Other end with slight loss to the kilim and slight loss to the guard stripe towards one corner. In general, this rug is in good usable condition. Nice furnishing piece.
