Opaque pigments, ink and pencil on paper, comprising a sun-tanned farmer watering the dry soil in a crop; a local woman clad in a thin white muslin sari carrying a water vessel (lota) back to the village; and another female villager spinning silk threads around wooden sticks; each character absorbed by their daily chores and wearing traditional clothing, the largest watercolour 28cm x 19cm.
