An interesting group of vintage and later silver prints (10) depicting photographers of the 20th century. Comprising a vintage press print of Margaret Bourke-White distributed by Radio Pictures, 1943, with its original typed caption [Margaret Bourke-White was really initiated into the movie fraternity when cameramen snapped her in a bathing suit. 'Enough of this build-up,' she said. 'I'd much rather be drifting on the Atlantic in a lifeboat.'], measuring 23 x 19cm; an undated portrait of Jacques-Henri Lartigue by Martine Franck, measuring 24 x 18cm, with Franck's Magnum copyright stamp verso; and undated portrait of Jacques-Henri Lartigue by Magdeleine Bonnamour, measuring 18 x 13cm, with Bonnamour's copyright stamp verso; an undated portrait of Robert Doisneau by Mark Marian Schmidt, measuring 23.5 x 16.2cm, with Schmidt's copyright and Rapho Agency stamps verso; an unattributed portrait of Bruno Barbey shooting a photograph on top of a military plane, measuring 12.8 x 18cm; a 1984 portrait of Eliot Porter by David Scheinbaum, measuring 20 x 25cm, with Scheinbaum's hand annotated stamps verso; two undated portraits of Jerry Uelsmann measuring 20.5 x 12.5cm, each with Uelsmann's studio label affixed recto; a pair of Associated Press copy prints depicting Pulitzer Prize winning photographer Edward Adams and a group of photographers covering President Johnson's motorcade catching fire in 1964. Together with one photolithographic portrait of Graciela Iturbide measuring 18 x 12.5cm, with her name printed lower margin.
