A ruby and diamond necklace and earring suite, circa 1830's

Designed as a series of X-shaped links, each set with rose-cut diamonds, highlighted with circular-cut rubies spaced by circular collet-set rose-cut diamonds, the whole centred by a pear shaped rose-cut diamond with an oval cut diamond surmount, closed back rose gold settings, together with matching pendent earrings, diamonds approx. 13.0 carats total, post fittings, lengths: necklace 37.4cm, earrings 5.6cm, in an associated fitted 'S J Phillips 113 New Bond Street London' presentation case, with gilt lettering 'Anne', 'Victoria'
