A MONGOLIAN VOTIVE WOODBLOCK PRINT.

19th Century.

Ink and colour on canvas, depicting two deities, the first possibly Kubera, gold-skinned, seated on a lotus base, holding a mongoose in his left hand, the second with white skin, riding a bear and wielding a staff, two small figures to their sides paying tribute, presenting offerings of vases, fruit and precious objects, a large procession of wild animals beneath, 40.5 x 31cm.
