Historia Abrahami, the series of six engravings, extracted from the ‘Thesaurus sacrarum historiarum Veteris Testamenti…’, after Maerten de Vos, some spotting, later ink inscriptions and titles in margins, washed, restoration to lower right-hand corner of first 3 plates, plates c. 20 x 27 cm, bound in modern marbled paper boards, loss to morocco spine label, Anvers?, 1585 [with] later states from the same series: Visscher II (Claes Jansz) 8 plates from the Maccabees and 10 plates from Joshua, plates corresponding to the series ‘Prentbijbel met voorstellingen uit het Oude en Nieuwe Testament’ (Rijksmuseum: RP-P-1982-306), some staining and short tears, one plate loose, bound in 2 volumes, early-19th century marbled paper covers, with English title labels, worn with some loss to spine, Jan Philipsz Schabaelje, [1646]
