The red plain field with field large angular floral medallion with pendants, containing floral lozenge centrepiece. Spandreld simiar. In soft red border of rosettes, angular vine and floral motifs between floral menader, zig-zag and plain stripes, approx 440cm. x 342cm. Very good type deriving from earler medallion Ushak type. This carpet has localized wear down to knot collar and below. Scattered small holes towards one end. Selvages original with small areas of wear on edges on one or two places. Ends slightly fraying on kilim and part of outer stripe. All the imperfections do reflect in an estimate. Very good size and good furnishing piece.
