A FINE ANTIQUE TABRIZ CARPET, NORTH-WEST PERSIA

Approx: 433cm. x 311cm. Very good type with beautifully drawn design and very good colour combination with soft ivory field and light sea-green border. Apart of light wear to the pile in few small places, down to knot collar, visible on closer inspection, this carpet has good pile, soft wool quality. Selvages original. Ends with short fringes. In general, this carpet is in very good usable condition. Very attractive and great furnishing piece.
