Mongolia, 19th Century.

The figure of the deity moulded beneath a pointed arch inscribed with Sanscrit text, seated in dhyanasana holding a sword in the right hand, the left in kartari mudra clasps a lotus stem supporting a book, all painted in vivid colours and gilt, 9.5cm H.
