Provenance:From the collection of Carl Ekman (1883–1957), a Swedish businessman and consul. He belonged to the Ekman family in Gothenburg and was active in the trading house Ekman & Co.
Exhibited at the National Museum, Stockholm, 1949, and listed in the catalogue 'Nordlig Sung Keramik ur Svenska Samlingar', p.46, no.266. The catalogue is included in the lot;
