the portico case is surmounted by an urn-form pedimentdraped with cast floral and fruit swags.
The circular with a white enamel dialfeatures blue Roman numerals and delicate pierced gilt hands set within a beaded bezel, striking on a bell. Flanked by a pair of fluted Corinthian columnsresting on a breakfront base. The lower frieze is richly decorated with scrolling acanthus leavesand central floral motifs, all supported by five turned toupie feet.
