The ivory field with an overall design of delicate scrolling floral and leafy vine, linking multicoloured serrated palmettes. In soft red border of bold palmettes, floral meander and arabesques, between flowering vine, linked lozenge and plain stripes, approx: 321cm. x 218cm. Very good type with well drawn design and very good colour combination. This carpet has a full pile of very soft wool quality. Ends and selvages original. The field has a few very light small stains, barely visible. In general this carpet is in very good useable condition. Attractive and a very good furnishing piece.
