A LARGE JAPANESE BRONZE INCENSE BURNER.

Kyōhō 18, consistent with 1743.

The straight, circular-section body set with two bracket handles, with an extended foot and a wide rim incised with a dedication: Presented to the honourable Kang Yin, October 18th year of Kyōhō period by Landlord Kazuhomare Ryoen of Jyoushu Gunma Gun Urushihara Mura, Kamishindenchu, the polished surface with a warm colour, 11.5cm H, 41cm diameter, 13kg.
