A LARGE JAPANESE INLAID BRONZE DISH BY INOUE.

Meiji period, Late 19th Century.

Decorated with a lobed cartouche containing three boys in a fishing boat on a pond in takazogan, one handling the paddle, the other two each with a fishing rod, with gilt details and shakudo and shibuichi inlay, the rim with a thick border of gilt fylfot pattern, the reverse signed Kyoto Inoue sei, 36cm diameter.
