A TALISMANIC SHIRT

The unbleached cotton kaftan profusely and intricately filled in geometric grids with prayers and sacred invocations, Quranic verses including sections of the Ayat al-Kursi (The Throne Verse, al-Baqarah 2:255) and the Declaration of Faith, charts containing the sacred names of Allah, and decorative motifs in black, red, green, and blue in a variety of scripts including kufic, naskh, thuluth, and nasta’liq, gold decorative details and dividing lines, 97cm long, 122cm across.
